The Rear Wiper (aka The First Post About My VW Rabbit)

Scenario

I’m in my VW Rabbit in the Target parking lot—about to leave. It’s raining. I turn on the car and the wipers. I shift into reverse and…

Stellar Interaction

My rear window wiper turns on! The Germans earn 3 interaction points for this one.

Point 1: They know it’s raining, cause I put my front wipers on. I didn’t turn my back one on, but I put the car in reverse. I should look behind me when going in reverse, so they wipe the back window for me so I can see where I’m going.

Point 2: When the back wiper goes on, they don’t want to be too pushy, so they turn it off once I shift out of reverse. That’s nice, but the Germans get the extra point because the initiation of the rear wiper when in reverse reminds me to turn on the rear wiper.

Point 3: Every time it’s happened over the past 3 and a half years, it makes me smile. There are a lot of loyal VW owners out there just like me.

And yes. You can expect future posts here about good interactions with my VW Rabbit.

NOTE: there is no such thing as an interaction point
